Embody Foundations

  • This is a parent-child interactive class to introduce your little one to the world of dance while fostering socialization and bonding. Class is not just limited to mothers and to guardians as a whole.

    (Ages 18 months to 2 years old)

  • Creative Movement is for the young dancer who might not be ready for the structured dance class setting however ready to further explore dance. They will get a more informal instruction of our ballet/jazz class.

    Ages 2 to 4 years old

  • Dancers in this class will learn the foundations of ballet and jazz on rotation. This is meant for our little movers who are able to operate in a structured dance environment.

    Ages 3-6 years old

Embody Developing Artists

Our program will allow for students between the ages of 7-12 to enroll into the “Embody Developing Artists” for a monthly set tuition to have access to all of the listed classes.

  • This class will focus on foundational ballet techniques, including proper posture, alignment, and vocabulary through barre work, center exercises, and stretching.

  • This class will build coordination, rhythm, and performance skills through a blend of fun exercises and technical training with an emphasize on jazz styles.

  • This class will teach fundamental elements such as isolations, footwork and styles including breaking, locking, and poping while also building coordination and rhythm.

  • Each month as an introduction to various dance styles the students will be introduced to a new class as the focus of the month to include dance styles such as Afro-Caribbean, Tap, Liturgical, etc.

Embody Emerging Artists

Our program will allow for students ages 13+ to enroll into the “Embody Emerging Artists” for a monthly set tuition to have access to all of the listed classes.

  • This class will consist of barre and center work, focusing on refining technique, improving musicality, and building strength.

  • This class will be a blend of the Modern and Jazz Dance Styles to make versatile dancers. The students will learn and become familiar with the elements and how to blend them.

  • This class will focus on rhythm, body awareness, and foundational moves such as isolations, hits, and grooves while developing advanced choreography.

  • Conditioning will occur every other week (Tuesdays) and this will focus solely on training the student’s bodies to improve flexibility, strength, mobility and to train to minimize risk of injury.

  • Choreography Class will take place every other week (Tuesdays) and will be a strictly choreography-based class for students to be able to prepare for professional industry classes.

  • Each month as an introduction to various dance styles the students will be introduced to a new class as the focus of the month to include dance styles such as Afro-Caribbean, Tap, Liturgical, etc.
