Aysia Welch is a Columbus Native and has been dancing since the age of 5 with a diverse background in a variety of dance styles. She began training at J.A.Z Dance & more, Barnett Recreation Center, and continued training at BalletMet Columbus where she performed in multiple company shows as a student. She has performed in numerous productions locally such as The Chocolate Nutcracker, The Adventures of P.A.N. and more. Aysia is a graduate of the Ohio State University with a B.A in Criminology & Sociology. Aysia has also danced commercially in Los Angles, California apart of the Debbie Reynolds Scholarship Program. She is also co-founder of The Buckeye Nation Collaborative, a statewide initiative to provide dance education and training to local dancers.
