What to Expect

Dancers age 7+ have the opportunity to be placed into the Embody Youth Dance Company beginning Fall 2026. Dancers will be expected to attend a placement class (to be held in August) where each dancer will be placed in Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 accordingly. Each dancer will have a weekly class schedule to include a company class.

How will the company operate?

Dancers will take core classes weekly (According to their placement) in the styles of Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Modern/Contemporary with the option to take additional dance styles.

In addition to their weekly classes, they will be required to attend a Company Class (meeting every Tuesday)

How does this benefit my child?

Each child apart of the Embody Dance Youth Company will have the opportunity to participate in our recitals, community performances, and compete in a competition.

Although Embody is not a competition-based dance studio, we want to provide our dancers to have as many opportunities as possible.
